1. Sukuh temple

Candi Sukuh is a Hindu based temple. Based on some plaque found around the temple, Sukuh was built between 1359 and 1378 Saka year or between AD 1437 and AD 1456 (around XV century). Even though its have Hindu background, the shape of the temple have some similarity to pre-historic buildings which known as Punden Berundak structure.

2. cetho temple

Cetho temple (Cetho = clear, without any barrier) is a Hindu temple dated from the fourteenth century at the end of Majapahit ruler. This temple is used as a worship place, just like any other Hindu Temple.

3. tawangmangu

Tawangmangu located on the west slope of Lawu Mountain at 1050 meters above sea level. About 16 KM more to the east, we can find another resort named Telaga Sarangan well known for its sand lake. The main attraction in Tawangmangu is the Grojogan Sewu waterfall.
